The institute is named “Abhinandan Prashikshan Sansthan” as a tribute to Gp Capt Abhinandan Veer Chakra Awardee- the hero of surgical strikes. The institute has Managing Director – Mrs Savitri Singh – W/O Late Shri Shambhu Singh (Dy. S.P – U.P.P). Her son is a serving Indian army officer and daughter-in-law is a Senior business manager with one the MNCs. The aim of the sansthan is to contribute in development of sports in remote areas and train youth to be disciplined, mentally & physically fit and motivate them to choose armed forces as their career.
